✨ Damage Protection Add-On – Terms & Conditions

Hire Society Co. offers an optional Damage Protection add-on to help cover minor accidental damage during your rental period.

By purchasing this add-on, you agree to the following terms.

What Is Covered

Damage Protection covers minor accidental damage that occurs during normal wear, including:

• Minor stains that can be professionally cleaned

• Small tears, loose stitching, or minor seam damage

• Minor fabric pulls or scuffs

• Additional cleaning beyond standard wear

These costs will be assessed and handled by Hire Society Co.

Damage Protection does not cover:

• Major or irreparable damage

• Rips, burns, or holes that render the item unwearable

• Loss, theft, or failure to return the item

• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorised alterations

• Damage from fake tan, body makeup, excessive perfume, or substances

• Wear outside the agreed rental period

• Water damage, bleach, dye transfer, or heat damage

• Any damage where the item must be fully replaced

If damage exceeds what is covered, the renter remains responsible for the full or partial replacement cost.

• Damage Protection does not replace the security authorisation

• A security hold may still be required at checkout

• If damage exceeds the coverage of this add-on, the security hold may be partially or fully charged

• All damage assessments are made by Hire Society Co.

• Repair, cleaning, or replacement decisions are final

• Customers will be contacted if damage exceeds coverage

• Damage Protection is non-refundable once a rental has commenced

• Unused coverage does not result in a refund

• Damage Protection is optional, but strongly recommended

• Choosing not to add Damage Protection means the renter accepts full financial responsibility for any damage beyond normal wear
